About

julianneHi, I’m Jules (my full name is Julianne)

When I graduated from Fitness and Health Promotions In 2012 I was fortunate enough to begin work as a personal trainer almost immediately. Initially I was full of energy and excitement but slowly my days became more and more repetitive and I began to lose the passion I set out with. Even when my awesome clients saw results and gave amazing recommendations, I still felt as though something was missing but I couldn’t identify what it was. I was feeling burnt out, tired and unmotivated. One day I decided it was time to make a change. I made a really scary decision to embark on a personal journey moving half way across the world to live in the rural countryside of New Zealand. One year and a bunch of mushy self discovery stuff later I returned home to Canada with a rejuvenated passion for helping others achieve extraordinary health, happiness and wellbeing. I discovered my purpose and gained a new perspective on what it means to be happy and healthy.

Now, as I return to the health and wellness industry I want to create an online platform to collect and share some of the information and resources that have empowered me throughout my journey and provide connections to powerful resources that can teach, motivate and inspire you to make lasting changes in your life. Helping you stay clear of corporately sponsored information and challenge the current status quo is the goal. If this blog inspires even one person to take action towards better health then it has served a great purpose.

So that is the little story of how this blog was conceived. 🙂

Your opinions are important. In order to make this blog more useful, your super awesome brainstorming ideas, thoughts, insights, questions and constructive criticisms are needed. Send me a message so we can help fitnesswithjules grow and reach more people.

Thanks for reading, you’re awesome.

– Jules
